Items to keep in mind while blogging and building your digial footprint:

• Keep it REAL...you are the expert of your craft, and remember that is your brand!
• Add video or podcast about yourself or your talent
• Keep post interesting
• Get into a routine, make it a part of your day
• Personalize your blog
• Spell check your post
• Think about adding Google AdSense Advertisements, if your blog is popular you may start recieving money
• Don't get discourage if you do not have followers or visitors sometimes it takes weeks to months to get noticed in this big audience
• Pictures are a great idea.......be visual
• Journal your thoughts and reflections of your works, stories that reach out to people
• To make your blog popular visit other blogs with similar topics and make comments that make them want to check out your blog
• Use attention getting titles
• Promote your URL everywhere, in your email signature, newsletters, advertisements, bussiness cards, twitter, facebook, website, etc.
• Update OFTEN....add new audio, video clips, podcast,and post
• Remember you want to be DIFFERENT!
